The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan

Caught a post on the DKos called the “Dancing Boys of Afghanistan” which was a subject I hadn’t heard of before and as a parent of a son myself it really touched me as to how this practice could be occuring again in Afghanistan.  The previous government had outlawed this practice but since the country’s occupation it is occuring again with a blind eye turned.  It’s hard for me to understand how someone could see a child in a sexual way, they are just kids…beings to be protected and guided not exploited like they are in these circumstances.  I really think there has to be something deeply wrong with a person to see a child as a sexual being because they aren’t in any way.

Thus a warning that the link below might be disturbing but it’s still an important thing to be aware of so that the practice can again be stopped.  Planning to send this article on to my Senators and Congressperson so they are aware of it.
